Monitoring

A minimal but genuinely useful monitoring stack is three containers: Prometheus for metrics collection, Grafana for dashboards, and node-exporter for host-level metrics (CPU, memory, disk, network).

docker compose up -d prometheus grafana node-exporter

Start with disk usage and container restart-count alerts. Those two catch the large majority of "something's wrong" situations before they become outages.
